Exhibition theme: Dimension
Location: Kulturmejeriet, Röbäck, Umeå
Materials: Merino wool, Swedish fine wool, fulled wool fabric, and wool yarn
Technique: Collage, felting, crochet elements, and embroidery.
My contributions to the exhibition, shown together.
“Nature’s Mirror”
A collage of colors and shapes. I seek balance in the composition while exploring different dimensions.
“Guardians of the Forest”
Plants with personalities of their own. These sculptures are felted from Swedish fine wool and merino wool. I use different types of wool to give the forms structure. Small embroidered details in running stitch are also included.
“The Bowl of Forgetfulness”
Felted from Swedish fine wool and merino wool.
